How much does it cost?

When is the first day of practice for Fall 2013 season?

The first day of practice will be July 15th for all tackle football and cheerleading participants.  Please note that the first 3 days of practice are held in shorts, t-shirts and helmet only (no pads).  Also, wear cleats and bring plenty of water.

What days and times are practice held?

Prior to school starting, practice is held four days per week (normally Monday through Thursday) from 6:00 – 8:30 PM.  Once school starts, practice is three days per week with the days and times determined by the head coach of your team.

What is the schedule? When does my team play games?

Game schedules are not determined until a few weeks before the season.  JV games are normally scheduled from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM with Varsity games kicking off at 3:30 PM as follows:

• Varsity Flyweight – 3:30 PM
• Varsity Mighty Mite – 5:00 PM
• Varsity Pee Wee – 6:30 PM
• Varsity Midget – 8:00 PM

What equipment does the league supply for tackle football?

The league supplies helmet, shoulder pads, mouthpiece and game uniform (jersey, pants, belt and socks).

What do I need to buy for tackle football?

Players will need practice pants, girdle, girdle pads (hip and spine pads), thigh pads, knee pads, athletic supporter and cleats (shoes).

Where do I buy these items?

Practice pants, girdle, girdle pads (hip and spine pads), thigh pads and knee pads can all be purchased from the East Lake Eagles at discounted prices.  Equipment can also be purchased locally or online from sporting goods stores.

What equipment does the league supply for cheerleading?

The league supplies your cheer uniform which must be returned at the end of the year.  In addition, each participant will receive a spirit pack with cheer bag, shirt and shorts.

What do I need to buy for cheerleading?

Participants will need to purchase cheer shoes.  These are purchased as a group so that all match.
