SYFC PARTNERS WITH PROTECT YOUTH SPORTS
The SYFC is pleased to announce a partnership with Protect Youth Sports.
Any volunteers who will be in contact with the children who are enrolled with the Suncoast Youth Football Conference, Inc., AND in order to receive a field pass issued through the Suncoast Youth Football Conference, Inc., MUST complete an application for coach/volunteer and successfully pass a background check/screening for criminal and sexual offenses. A successful background check/screening MUST be completed PRIOR to any contact with any child enrolled with the Suncoast Youth Football conference in any capacity. This includes even casual contact.
If you are interested in volunteering, you must submit your application to the organization along with $10 to cover the cost of the background check. Failure to do so will result in you being excluded from any volunteer position within the organization. The SYFC and all organizations within the conference also reserve the right to deny any application if they feel you are not a fit for their organization’s mission or goals. This is a “No Tolerance” policy.
